Dave Kauffman, President
Dave has more than 22 years insurance experience and joined Anchor Marine in 1993. Dave enjoys Cougar sports, golf, skiing and is always watching the weather.
Peter Ricks, Agent
Peter has been with Anchor Marine since 2005. His background was in Marine Finance, and he served our country for 13 years. He volunteers for the Wounded Warrior Project and for the WA and OR Tuna Classics to benefit NW Harvest and other food banks. Peter is Anchor Marine’s fishing expert. You may have read one of his articles in West Coast fishing publications. Northwest Wild Country Radio has had him as a guest for his expertise in tuna fishing. He enjoys classic cars, guitar and bass, and scuba diving.
Teresa McCafferty, Office Manager, Agent
Teresa has been with Anchor Marine since 1998. She is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of your boat or yacht policies and is our service specialist. Teresa is very active in the Sweet Adelines organization. Her quartet, LiveWire, recently placed high in International Competition.
Bob Schwab, Agent
Bob joined Anchor Marine in 2010 after 22 years as a distinguished boat and yacht broker. He is a senior member of the Northwest Yacht Brokers Association Boat Show Committee. Bob volunteers as a coach and at local food banks. In his spare time, he enjoys boating and fishing.
Sam Landback, Agent
Sam has been with Anchor Marine since 2001. He is Anchor Marine’s claims and houseboat specialist. He plays soccer in his spare time and is active in the Greater Seattle Soccer League.
Michelle Kauffman, Account Manager, Private Risk Services
Michelle has returned full-time to Anchor Marine to launch the Private Risk Services group. She started with Anchor Marine in 2000 as a personal lines agent and came from a background in liability claims. She completed her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) in 2003. Michelle is also a Girl Scout leader and school volunteer.
Neyra Villalpando, Customer Service/Administrative Assistant
Neyra recently joined Anchor Marine in April 2011. She and her husband, a US Marine, have been relocated to Seattle from Southern California where they both grew up.
Neyra has a BA in Spanish from the University of California, Irvine and hopes to continue working in the insurance field for the remainder of her time in Washington. She has almost 4 years experience working in an insurance office and finds enjoyment in assisting customers. In her spare time she loves shopping and exploring Downtown Seattle with her husband.
Greg Mercer, Agent, Alaska Charter and Guide Insurance and Alaska Boats and Yachts
Greg became affiliated with Anchor Marine in 2010. Greg runs the Anchorage office and Alaska Waters Consulting. He has his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and 22 years of experience as an Alaskan guide. Greg is a USCG Approved Maritime instructor and has his 100 Ton Master Near Coastal License. Greg is focused on helping guide services and Alaska boaters with their insurance needs. In his free time he enjoys volunteering and coaching little league baseball.
